மருத்துவர்களின் கண்காணிப்பில் முதல்வர் உள்ளார் என்றும், நீண்ட நாட்கள் மருத்துவமனையில் தங்கி சிகிச்சை பெற வேண்டும் என அப்பல்லோ மருத்துவமனை வெளியிட்டுள்ள செய்திக் குறிப்புகளில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இந்நிலையில், முதல்வர் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வரும் அப்பல்லோ மருதுவமனைக்கு சென்ற மதிமுக பொதுச்செயலாளர் வைகோ முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதாவின் உடல்நிலை குறித்து மருத்துவர்களிடம் கேட்டறிந்தார்.
அதன்பின்னர் செய்தியாளர்களை சந்தித்த வைகோ, முதல்வர் நலமாக உள்ளார். அதிமுக தொண்டர்களின் கவலை நீங்கும். முழு குணத்துடன் முதல்வர் வீடு திரும்புவார். மருத்துவர்களை சந்தித்தேன். குறிப்பாக லண்டன் மருத்துவர் ரிச்சர்டை சந்தித்தேன். அவருக்கு எனது நன்றிகளை தெரிவித்தேன். முழு உடல் நலம் பெற்று இயற்கை அன்னையின் அருளை யாசிக்கிறேன் என்றார்.
